I'm fangirling out this weekend at the Emerald City Author Event!

I have my backpack, some pent up need to buy books, and a girls' weekend all planned out. I'm taking a break from the kiddos (first time for me) and heading to Seattle (uh, that's only 50 minutes away, but still...no kiddos). Brandee Bookworm sent me a link about this event a while back and we got giddy with the idea of having a book blogger girl weekend. Last time I went to a book event I was so overwhelmed I didn't buy a single book. I blame it on the fact that I went as a newbie author. This time the author hat exists solely in the business cards I promised my mom I would bring with me. I'll be offline for a few days because I am not a fancy cell phone girl and my computer is staying home. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Oh hey, wait! One last thing. Sign ups for the Soul Twister Blog Tour are happening right now!! If you're interested in YA/NA paranormal romance with a unique protagonist, check out my Touched Girl series. I'd be happy to send you review copies of Soul Walker, Soul Bender, and the upcoming Soul Twister.

  1. Have a FABULOUS time!! I'm so jealous, lol. But you def deserve a girls' weekend!! I want to meet Annie Walls so badly - we're friends on Facebook, and she's awesomesauce! Pass out those business cards like a boss, girlfriend! :D

    1. When I went to Annie Walls' table and saw the covers I instantly thought of you!! I was bad about the business cards. The only person I gave a card to was Brandee now that I think of it. Oh my goodness. I have a couple new author crushes now based solely on two minutes chats with them.

I'm so happy you signed up for the tour! I hope the summer is starting off awesome!

  2. This sounds so much fun, Robyn. Since I read this post too late, I hope you had an amazing weekend!! Did you buy any books this time?

    1. Ah ha! I did buy books. Yep I did, and I got them signed! Brandee had to remind me to take the books out to get signed. I had a great time. I drank beer and when it started getting dark the first night I panicked for a split second that I had to get home for the kids and then I realized it was a kid-free weekend.

I hope you have a great week too! Are the stories flying?

    2. Oh, that's good. Thank God Brandee was there because I have the feeling that you would just stand there, amazed. hehe

The stories are flying. They fly low and steady, but they do fly and I am flying along with them!
