This week's question is: What blogger would you most like to meet in real life? Tell us about him or her.

There's no "most" about it. I have so many new friends from venturing into this wonderful world of blogging, I tell you what, if I ran into a person in the grocery line and she mentioned she blogged, I'd be her best friend. Okay, that's an exaggeration, but bloggers are awesome people. We click, click, click away to share our passion for stories and characters, to connect with other book people, to get away from the puzzled looks on our family's faces when we're outraged over the crap ending of a book we've been waiting a year to read. We're chatty, opinionated, crafty people. Basically we rock and I'd love to hang out with any book blogger. I will say that I was so lucky to stumble onto JC's Book Haven's blog to ask Jaclyn if she'd like to review my book, Soul Walker. We've become great friends. And from there, I met other bloggers I call friends.

Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven (now co-starring Melody whose reviews I look forward to stalking)
Rivie @ Bookshelf
Brandee @ Bookworm Brandee
Jodie @ Aussie Bookworm
Lexxie @ [un]conventional Book Views
Kaykay @ The Creative Forum
Jennifer @ Donnie Darko Girl
GoFlashGo @ Read, Rinse, Repeat
Snuggles @ Rainbows and Books

If I didn't mention you, I'm a jerk and never forgive me....Or take pity on a girl with spacing out issues.
I'd also like to note that I'm dying to add more to this post. I don't want anyone feeling left out. (can you tell I had dodgeball teams issues as a kid?)

  1. LOL, I know what you mean, Robyn - I wish I had just added ALL the bloggers I visit on a regular basis... But I didn't. Thanks for adding me to your list! It would be a lot of fun to meet. Maybe a total blogger-con should take place one day - somewhere nice, warm, quiet and cheap, so we can sip drinks and talk about books, sidekicks, writing and many other things.

Here's my FF post for this week.

    1. Ha, I clicked on the first one and thought I was acting loopy again because I could have sworn I was headed to your blog not Brandee's. I had to double check because I'm in writing/editing mode right now and I am not of sound mind. I just saw that you posted your Fall of Night review. I cannot wait to read that book! My library is tormenting me with their updates on my status. Oh, I'm number one, been number one on the waitlist forever. Grrh. Next the book will be in transit...pending...ready.

  2. I felt the same way Robyn! There are so many bloggers that I would love to spend time with and there's no way I could have listed them all. Thanks for visiting this week and I can tell that I'll be visiting more often! I'm following you back via G+ & Bloglovin' :)

    1. Ah yes, my fellow Mercy Thompson fan. I just read your reply and laughed at "Mmmmmm Adam" because I was going to type that too! He's one of my favorites. I plan to visit your blog too!

    1. Jodie is cool. I want to hop a plane straight to Australia...maybe not right now with it being winter. I have no idea what winters are like Down Under. Hmm. But we could spend the whole day fangirling over Eric from the Sookie books and Adrian from VA and Bloodlines. Thanks for stopping by and for the follow. I followed back!

  4. I know what you mean. I would also get excited if I met some bloggers in person. People who don't blog just don't understand it. New follower via Bloglovin. You can find me at: http://gwynnethwhite.blogspot.com/

    1. I'm right there with you Gwynneth. Non bloggers have the same glossed over eyes when a blogger starts talking about hops and memes and how dang busy Fridays are because you're out meeting other bloggers. hehe

  5. Nice list here! It's hard to choose just one or even a few! I would be happy meeting anyone! I've met a few in the past as well, but I think at the time of one, I didn't even realize it was her til I got home!

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

    1. Oh goodness! I'm terrible with names and faces. If I went to a convention, I'd need big badges with blog title on it, maybe a snap shot of what their blog looks like? Thanks for stopping by. We both picked Jaclyn.

  6. Great list, Robyn. Thanks for thinking of me. Did you know that I had almost given up on making a post for today's FF since I was late, but the I liked the question; there was no way I was going to miss it, so I quickly wrote my post.

Thanks again for mentioning me. I appreciate it!:)

    1. I should have written up cool things about you like you did on your blog. Your post is awesome and so thoughtful. I'd comment on how big a supporter you are of your fellow writer and blogger and how fun your reviews are. Some of those books are not my style at all and I still think about them like Prey (is the title?) by Chricton. And I'd admit to being addicted to your Beach Man series. Thanks for mentioning me, Kaykay!

    1. I remember you asking about how to put a link in the comment section and I thought it was so cool you asked. And I've been hooked on your blog since. We're both moms. You're on the zombie side of things and I'm way too wussy for that. Oh, my sister warned me last weekend, "Rob, whatever you do, don't watch the preview for-" "The Purge? Yeah, Donnie Darko Girl already freaked me out about that movie and I accidentally saw the preview for it."

  8. OK so guy at work asks me what I'm doing this weekend and I say, "drawing a picture of ______ for my sidekick saturday post on my blog" (Hey! I can't tell you yet it's a surprise!) and he says, "sounds lame, are you at least having a beer with that?". LOL yep non bloggers don't get it. You know we're friends for life now, and I'm so glad you've made such an awesome circle of friends as well. I saw your name listed on a lot of blogs today :D Thank you for thinking of me! We will definitely be meeting up someday. Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.

    1. Ha! That guy just didn't get it. I never belonged to a group where I could say that so proudly. I flitted between and around clicks in high school and was an artist in college, all kind of solitary. I love being part of the blogger community. We will absolutely meet up someday. How could we not?!

  9. I second the request to forgive those of us with spacing issues, Robyn. I KNOW I missed people on my list. Blogging has been amazingly fulfilling. Meeting this group of people who share my passion is - I have no words. I vote we try to make Traci's suggestion of a huge and cheap blogger con a reality! LOL Oh, can you imagine?!?

Btw, you made my list too, my friend!

    1. Yes, a fellow spacey girl! My boys fill in my sentences when my words fall away. So we have bloggers spanning the globe and we all want to hang out in person. No one can accuse us of settling for small dreams! Thanks for thinking of me. I didn't know getting my stories out there would lend way to this cool blogging world!

  10. That's a very beautiful post. Blogging community is so awesome and like we have said again...we bloggers, writers, reader, we do care for the others, right?
I have met so many good people and I'm so happy that I started blogging.
    I wish you a beautiful weekend. :)

    1. Thanks Athina! Being a writer is such a solitary passion, but blogging draws us out of our caves. Funny that. Did you get a chance to stop by Kaykay's FF? He said very nice things about you.

You have a great weekend. I hope you can take a break from the editing and hit a good read!
