Merry Christmas!!

My mom used to put this picture up every year after Thanksgiving. I played an angel in the school play when I was in first or second grade. As the years went by she started putting it up before Halloween thinking she was so clever. You know, since I'm no angel, what a great costume. So here's six year old me wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas. I'm a lucky girl to be part of the blogging community and to call you all my friends. Oh, and if this picture doesn't scream cute holiday wishes to you, my five year old is in perfect agreement. He chose the cat below saying, "This is the cute picture."
Merry Christmas!!

  1. Oh, Robyn! You are quite the angel! ;) I love that your mom kept putting that photo up earlier and earlier every year...my mom should have tried something like that with my brother! *haha* Tell John that I love his kitty photo, too!

I'm so grateful to have met you - you're a great friend! I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and lots and lots of the good stuff for 2014! And I can't wait til May! ;) *big hugs*

    1. Your brother, huh? Funny girl. I couldn't believe he voted for the kitty photo. He never even knew that cat. And look at his "you're bugging me" look on his face. Totally not Christmas at all! But I'll tell him.

One of the most rewarding aspects of venturing out on this writing dream has been making friends. I had no idea this blogger world existed. You are a great friend too. I think 2014 will be busy and awesome. Are you going to do a New Year's resolution post or anything like that?

      Merry Christmas!

    1. Merry Christmas to you, Stephanie! I have enjoyed your blog so much. I remember you hiding the book for that one give a book to a stranger thing (can't remember what that was called) and your big blogger/author convention with your busted foot and you going from Blogger to Wordpress. Here's to 2014, more great reads and neat posts.

  3. Merry Christmas, Robyn. I love your pictures. :)
I was dressed as an angel too in a school party, but I had golden wings. It was fun.
I'm really happy I met you through the blogging community and I am more happy that I can call you friend. You are a wonderful person.
I wish you a great day to you, your family and loved ones.

    1. Golden wings?! I would have pined for them. Angels always fascinated me, but then to be one, I was so happy. You have broadened my thinking and inspired me, Athina. I think about flying now instead of swimming.

I wish you and your family a great day as well. I've snuck away to click away on my computer. It was a very long night with the boys constantly trying to get into their presents! Lexxie says she opens her presents with her family on Christmas Eve. I think that's the way to go!!

      Merry Christmas!

    1. Thank you, Jaclyn. It was pretty wonderful. Pie is on its way and reading! I got Ilona Andrews for Christmas. hehe! And Night Huntress. Plus I swapped reads with Shan so she'll start Magic Bites and I'll start First Grave on the Right. How has your day been with Zane? My mini-case logic of Christmas DVDs has magically vanished. I guess the boys were tired of me putting on my favorite movies. Grrh. You know I wish you the best too!

  5. That angel-you is very pretty and angelic, Robyn! I have to laugh at your mom actually putting the picture up before Halloween, though :)

I hope you've had a fantastic Christmas, with some wonderful family times, and new fabulous memories :)

Wishing you and your family a continuing Happy Holiday!

    1. I'm still eating way too much chocolate. Usually I don't snap out of the sugar habit until mid-January. Christmas day was wonderful. It's hard feeling anything but little kid glee with two boys who can't sleep because they are so excited for Santa! Were you able to take a break from your studies to shop and play during the holiday? I just saw your review for Losing it. Loved it! Happy New Year, Tilly!!
